Description
Crochet II – Trivet
You’ve successfully taken Crochet Basics and have been crocheting squares like a machine. We searched for an introduction to circular crochet where we could explore a new stitch to help you expand your crochet skills. This trivet or very large coaster checked all the boxes! Designed by Kelbourne Woolens’s, Kate Gagnon Osborn, you’ll learn the bobble stitch and how to crochet in the round. Designed to create a thick protective padding between your plant, your tea pot, or that sweaty pitcher of iced cold sangria and your table surface.
Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: adventurous beginner (you have taken Crochet Basics and know how to hold a crochet hook!)
- We provide: a copy of the pattern, expertise, and moral support.
- You bring: yourself, at least 69 yards of worsted weight yarn (we suggest Blue Sky Organic Cotton, Wool & the Gang Billie Jean, or Universal Clean Cotton) for washability to make a single trivet, US J hook, and a tapestry needle for weaving in your ends. Don’t forget that we offer 15% off all materials purchased for class.
- Class length: 2 1/2 hours
