Have you collected more than your fair share of embroidered and screenprinted patches over the years and feel like it’s time to use them? Do you have some large holes in the knees or elbows of your clothes that simply need a patch to reinforce the area? This handsewing workshop will cover patch placement, thread choices, and stitch selection.
Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
Level: beginner
We provide: iron, pins, washable adhesives, sewing needles, snips, and cool threads.
You bring: yourself, a bag/garment/piece of fabric, and your patch(es) – if you are so inclined and have fancy thread you want to use, bring that, too. Do you fear pushing the needle’s blunt end into your finger? You should bring a thimble. Don’t forget that we offer 15% off any supplies for our workshops.
