Nightshirt : made in jersey, it becomes a loose tee-shirt or a nightshirt.
Optional armhole ruffles. Ribbed or stretch material at the bottom of the body, cuffs and collar.

FYI, the main update for the child pattern is an extension of the sweatshirt version in dress; to get the dress length above the knee, you’ll just have to extend the lines of PATTERN pieces in front and back
