Gain confidence on the serger and learn about the coverstitch machine! You’ll make a simple scoop neck knit shirt with short or long sleeves with professional finishes. Any cotton jersey works great for this shirt. It is imperative that you pre-wash your fabric.
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
Level: Adventurous Beginner, you have taken serger basics (or the equivalent) and are confident using a rotary cutter.
We provide: The expertise, the tools and pattern tracing paper.
You bring: a copy of the pattern, and fabric appropriate for your measurements (make sure you buy fabric based on the fabric width). Don’t forget we offer 15% off all materials purchased for one of our classes!
Class length: 2 1/2 hours each session for a total of 5 hours.
